Deepak Halan is currently working as Associate Professor at the School Of Management Sciences, Apeejay Stya University. He has served as visiting faculty at various reputed institutes such as: NIFT, IIM Indore, IIFT, Pearl Academy, amongst others.
He has more than 18 years of experience spanning across academics, sales, market strategy, consumer and business research, below-the-line activities and online brand consultancy. Has provided strategic marketing consultancy to clients across diverse sectors such as IT, Telecom, FMCG, Govt., Automotive, Healthcare, Media etc. and managed quantitative and qualitative studies. Deepak has researched and published more than 80 articles and papers on diverse subjects such as market research, retailing, advertising, promotions, entertainment, telecom, sports marketing, green marketing, marketing to kids etc. These papers have been published in various reputed journals & magazines such as Indian Management, Journal of Education Technology, Businessworld, Effective Executive, Advertising Express, Quality World, Business Standard etc. Some of his articles have been published as case studies in reference/text books.
